Reports

A big thank you to Paul C for organising such a great trip even the rain wasn't so bad. The Nurburgring was a fantastic experience, didn't need a stop watch more like a calendar, but I did find out that the Africa has a rev limiter, Steve hope you manage to get the Porche yellow of your elbow. after reading the horror stories of travelling up from Dover I'm glad we did the Zeebrugge/Hull crossing. See you all soon,

Just a quick note to thank Mr. Bigee Bigee Man ( he knows who he is ) for organising a great trip and to everyone else who made me feel most welcome on my first time out with the club. The trip over the channel was one of the best I've had and I shall probably use the Hull / Rotterdam route again. This might sound strange, but I actually enjoyed the journey to Amsterdam despite the rain. Think everyone enjoyed Amsterdam, it always feels so relaxed (earth calling Ray, are you with us?) but there's always plenty to do. The digs in Germany couldn't have been in a better place ( nice scenery and great roads) and the food was excellent. The Nurburgring was something else. I've never scared myself so silly and still ended up with a smile from ear to ear. Its something I'm definately going to do again and probably soon. And hats off to Collette, the only person we saw in 2 hours, brave enough to do a lap of the circuit riding pillion. The trip back to the digs trying to keep up with the quick lads was an eye opener too!

All in all, I can honestly say that I've never enjoyed riding the bike so much since I've had it, thanks in no small part to the great company I was in; hope to catch up with you all soon.

Regards, Dave Jones.

Just a quick one, I have just arrived back after the Damringers safe and sound. Now for a shower and catch up with family things with a cold glass of wine. Thanks Paul, a really brilliant trip. My highlight was the N-ring of course, I shall cobble up a video as soon as. My trip to Hurtgen forest, Malmedy and St Vith a close second.

Well what can i say? bloody brilliant trip with a bit of everything thrown in. That ferry trip is the perfect start to any holiday abroad, just wish we'd come back that way and i'd still be on holiday! Amsterdam, well need we say more, beautiful city, stunning architecture, relaxing, and some bloody good gear (Bike gear of course). The nurburgring has seriously mashed my brain. How can something so beautifully, stunning, awesome that fries every nerve in your body still be a legal high? Every person on this planet should be able to say that at some time in their lives they've ridden / driven it. Then again, I suppose that the 60 / 70 year old couple that I spotted driving around in a family saloon at 30 mph must have thought that all hell had broken loose. I can just picture the scene. " oh look love, you can buy a ticket to drive around the old grand prix circuit. That looks fun, we can see where Nicki Lauda lost his ear. Buys ticket, goes out on track. F???????cccccccccccckkkkkkkkkkkiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!!!!!!!!!!eeeeeeeeeee ee eeelllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll Did you see that idiot cut me up? And another, and another.............................................................for 14 miles. The place is MAD, very, very, seriously MAD. I've been affected. The last day was nicely chilled which to be honest was something that we all probably needed. Cheers Paul, you're a star.
