This is it, our last big weekend away for 2012. Always a good excuse to get the bike out for one more time and definitely the way to make sure you have an exciting and active year on your bike next year. This is the trip where new friendships are made and plans will be hatched for 2012. We will be sticking to the new 3 day format again as we never seem to have enough time to do all the really interesting lanes that Wales has to offer and I know many have a night out near Whitchurch anyway. We have done this since Wales 2 2010 and it is a real improvement. So the plan is to meet up at the Little Chef (SY13 1JZ) on the Whitchurch Bypass, where the A495 turns off for Ellesmere, at 10.00ish for a 10.30 departure, fuel up as you arrive and arrive much earlier if you want to take breakfast. This will allow people from further afield to travel over on the Friday Morning. Then we'll take to the back roads and do some stunning little lanes heading across to arrive about 5pm at our fabulous DIGS near the East Coast. After what is always a good night, Saturday morning we'll take a nice relaxed day to do the far west of Wales and maybe even a few easy trails (Road alternative available) weather permitting before again hitting our digs for another night of fun. Sunday morning we will rise and use a different rout back towards the boarder using more top lanes with a nice early finish to allow everyone to make it home with ease. A great chance to get the bike out early in 2012 and meet old and new members alike. Remember, it's first come, first served with regard to beds.
