A chance to explore in style many of the surfaced (and un-surfaced if you wish) roads and passes in this stunning part of the Pyrenees. A relaxed schedule staying in wonderful locations as we meander down through France to the Extreme sports center of the Pyrenees. If it's the Pyres you want to do then this is the way to do it. Fully sorted and an easy trip for all. Ideal for beginners and veterans alike, one or two up.

Thursday the 9th of June - We'll meet up on the Docks in Portsmouth around 8.30pm, giving us plenty of time to board the ferry for our overnight cruise to Le Havre, arriving early Friday morning after a small drink and a good nights sleep.

Friday - A nice easy day following a cross country route through rural France, taking in Swiss Normandy as well as some of the Loire valley. We'll eventually arrive at our first night's accommodation in France, a small town to the east of Tours. You'll have time to take in the atmosphere before deciding weather to eat in the hotels wonderful restaurant, or hunt down your own place to dine in the nearby fortified town.

Saturday - After Breakfast we head south towards Châteauroux. Continuing south we find ourselves exploring the enchanting Midi-Pyrénées north east of Toulouse, where we take our next overnight night stop in another fortified town with a truly stunning and very special location.

Sunday - After breakfast we soon start to climb into the foothills of the French Pyrénées. Beautiful gorge roads and small passes become the norm in this lush landscape. We eventually cross the boarder over one of the high passes into the more arid but equally stunning Spanish Pyrénées, arriving at our accommodation in Sort for our next four nights in Catalonia.

Monday - A free day to relax by the pool, do some shopping, try some adventure sports, or go out on the bike exploring the wonderful road and trail passes this area of Catalonia has in abundance.

Tuesday - Another free day to do more of the above or visit Andorra via the old smugglers trail for some Tax free shopping.

Wednesday - Another free day to do more of the above or further explore this wonderful area.

Thursday - We take a different route back through the Pyrénées to the east. More top roads over stunning passes, as well as one of the best gorge roads I’ve ever done. .Our aim, as always is to arrive at our Hotel near Albi early in the evening giving us plenty of time for a pleasant evening meal and a few drinks.

Friday - We continue north taking a different route through the Midi-Pyrénées back to our first Hotel near Tours.

Saturday - An early start back to Le Havre for the Afternoon Ferry back to Portsmouth allowing people the choice of pushing back for a late arrival home or a night in Portsmouth before returning home during Sunday.

I believe this European jaunt to be suitable for all, one or two up, both novice and veteran alike. It can be tackled on almost any bike (as long as it's capable of longer journey). Any trail riding, although easy, is optional. This trip is seriously well sorted and is a real relaxed, touring HOLIDAY. To help me with organising I'm afraid, as always, very advanced booking is required and maximum numbers (12ish) will apply. Due to the booking system at P&O the prices of the crossings will rise as the Ferry fills up. This is designed to encourage people to book and pay early (like some of the low cost airlines), so book early to avoid the price quoted rising as the summer approaches.

Most of the Hotels we use are not large, therefore I have to book early and firm up numbers well in advance to be fair to the owners. Please indicate your intention to join us as early as you can as I will be closing the trip to new applicants early as I let rooms go. This is a top trip and comes highly recommended, don't be disappointed, book now...

It does not include, food (except for breakfast on 7 days), drinks, smokes, petrol, bikes, extra trips! (of any kind), spending money, tolls, tunnels or anything that does not appear in the included paragraph above, sorry!
