Introduction

 This page gives a transcription of the 1851 census for Tarrant Crawford, which I have personally produced. Attention is drawn to the limitations of this transcription, and to the explanation of the layout, on the introductory page. Question marks in parentheses after a word indicate doubt about the original spelling. Question marks without parentheses indicate an illegible word. The "Do" at the beginning of the 3rd household indicate that its address is also "West End".

 The data below is taken from HO 107 Piece 1853, Folios 218 and 219.

Definition of the enumeration district

The whole of the two parishes of Tarrant Crawford and Tarrant Keinston including the Telegraph, Manor Farm, Luton Farm and Cottages.

Note that only the parish of Tarrant Crawford is transcribed here, and the statistics shown here are only those for that parish.
